TL;DR
We don't use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. We don't require accounts. We log minimal server data for security and performance, retained for 30 days. Embedded tools on third-party sites inherit that site's policies.
Data we collect
When you use Math Visualizer, we collect only what's necessary to operate the service:

We do not collect: names, emails (unless you contact us), device IDs, location data, or behavioral profiles.
Cookies & local storage
We set no cookies. No session cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies. The tools use browser APIs (Canvas, WebGL, localStorage) purely for rendering and saving your tool preferences (e.g., last-used color theme, slider positions) locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser.
Third-party services
- Fonts: Google Fonts (Spectral, Work Sans) are self-hosted via our CDN — no requests to Google at runtime.
- Hosting: Cloudflare Pages. Their privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level logs.
- Embeds: When you embed a tool on your site, the iframe loads from our domain. We don't track parent-page URLs or user identity across embeds.
No analytics, no tracking
We don't use Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, or any similar service. We don't build user profiles. We don't share data with advertisers. If we ever add privacy-respecting aggregate analytics (e.g., "how many people used the sphere tool this week"), it will be opt-in, clearly documented, and anonymized.
Contact form
If you email us at hello@mathvisualizer.com or use the contact form, we receive your message, email address, and any details you include. We use this only to respond. We don't add you to mailing lists. Messages are retained while the conversation is active, then deleted.
Children's privacy
Math Visualizer is a general-audience educational tool. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No account creation means no age-gated data collection.
Your rights
Since we hold almost no personal data, there's little to exercise rights over. You can:
- Request deletion of any contact-form correspondence.
- Ask what server logs exist for your IP (hashed) — we'll provide or delete on request.
- Use the tools without ever identifying yourself.

Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (e.g., adding analytics) will be announced on the blog and via a site banner. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Jurisdiction
Math Visualizer is operated from the United States. By using the site, you consent to data processing in the US. If you're in the EU/UK, the limited data we process falls under legitimate interest (security, performance) — no sensitive data, no profiling.
